Celebrating classic horror films through the decades from the 1930’s to the late 1970’s the Frighten Brighton Classic Horror Film Festival hits the ground (or should that be beach?) running in the south coast city of Brighton on Saturday 11th August! From 12 noon until almost midnight join your Horror Hosts Cyberschizoid and Scare Sarah along with their very special guest UK Scream Queen Emily Booth at The Komedia, Brighton’s leading live entertainment venue.
An all day pass will only cost you £15 and gets you entry to all five films and access to the fangtastic Hemlock Books merchandise stall selling the beast in horror film books, magazines and dvds!
And that’s not all – there will also be free horror giveaways courtesy of Diabolique magazine throughout the day!
So if you couldn’t get tickets for the Olympics or want to escape the overcrowded capital city for a few days, come and spend the weekend in sunny Brighton and wallow in nostalgia as we present the films you wish the BBC would show on our television screens on Saturday nights!
But hurry! The tickets are selling out fast so grab yours now before it’s too late! You can buy them online from the Komedia website or from the Komedia box-office in Brighton’s world famous cultural district, the North Laines.
