The next Frighten Brighton horror event is taking place on Saturday 25th February 2012 and we want YOUR feedback and comments on the things you’d like to see and do! Do you like watching movies? Do you want a bigger Macabre Market? Are there any particular films and screenings you’d like to see? Vote in our poll and send us your comments and ideas! Let’s make Frighten Brighton 2012 bigger and better than ever!!
An eight-year-old Billy Chainsaw used Dick Smith’s now legendary Do-It-Yourself Monster Make-up Handbook to transform himself into something beyond hideous – so he could scare a visiting neighbour. Much to his delight, it worked a treat. After the initial shock, Billy’s female victim turned to his mom and said, “Don’t worry, he’ll grow out of it.” Fortunately, he never did! Which led to him carving out a niche for himself as one of the UK’s most notorious horror genre film critics and a maestro of all things weird!
Now the legendary Billy Chainsaw, film/dvd editor of Bizarre magazine and columnist for Shock Horror Magazine has launched his own range of horror themed Xmas Cards! You can order these cool and creepy cards by emailing KoolKrakenIncorporated@gmail.com and all payments are via Paypal. They will be mailed out on the same day they are paid for – as long as the post office is still open!!!
Prices are as follows – £2 each of £10 for 6 (any combination of designs)
UK p & p is £1.99 for 4, £2.99 for 6, £3.99 for 12 – a Yuletide bargain if ever there was one!
There are four demonic designs which you can see above and all cards are A5 sized folded to A6 and are hand-made by Mr Chainsaw himself! So let those fingers do the buying and order your Scary Xmas cards today!
The Frighten Brighton horror triple bill and Macabre Market at The Rock Inn on Saturday 3rd December went down a storm! Everyone was so pleased with its success that we are already planning FRIGHTEN BRIGHTON 2012 for Saturday 25th February!
Our Macabre Market will be taking place in the HAUNTED BASEMENT featuring a whole host of horror-themed artwork, crafts, cards, books, cakes, comics and more! Entry to this is FREE OF CHARGE! If you would like to take part as a stall holder email us at cyberschizoid@yahoo.co.uk
The Market is open from 12noon until 5pm and there will also be a FREE SCREENING of Hammer’s classic Frankenstein & the Monster From Hell (1974) at around 2pm.
From 5pm will be our HORROR DOUBLE BILL – admission just £5 per person. During the intermission you will have a chance to win some fangtastic horror goodies in Cyberschizoid’s Legendary Horror Quiz!
So, what films will we be screening in our HORROR DOUBLE BILL? There are so many awesome horror and monster movies old and new from around the world that we’re finding it hard to choose!! So we would love to hear YOUR spooky screening suggestions!
